With all the information available from a variety of sources, it’s so hard to know how exactly to support our children at home. Should we make every interaction a teachable moment? Should we correct poor grammar every time? Are we supposed to praise the effort and not the result, or is it the other way around? Can I compliment my child or is that wrong now? Should I let them struggle or will that mess them up for life? This is not a workshop that will tell you what you’re doing wrong and what to do instead. Besides, that expert opinion will likely change. This conversation is about you, your child, and your home. You will leave understanding why children behave, think, and feel the way they do. You will leave with foundational knowledge and information so that you can make informed decisions for you and your child when things change again.
