Apple Carrot Bread
1 1/8 cups Apple juice
1/3 cup Carrots — grated
1 1/2 Eggs
2 1/3 tablespoons Maple syrup -=OR=- honey
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1/3 teaspoon Cinnamon
1 1/2 tablespoons Vital gluten — to 3 tbls
3/4 cup Oat -=OR=- wheat flakes
3 cups Whole wheat flour
2 teaspoons Yeast
1/3 cup Dried apples
1/3 cup Nuts — chopped (opt)
Add ingredients according to manufacturer’s directions.
Medium color setting. Add nuts and apples at the beep. Makes 1-1/2 lb loaf.
