Amish Dutch Apple Pie

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F
Prepare single pie crust in 9-10 inch pie plate
6-8 apples
3-4 TBS lemon juice

Streusel

1/3 cup white sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup + 2 TBS flour
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Peel, core, and slice apples; place in bowl and sprinkle with lemon juice. Mix dry ingredients except walnuts; cut in butter with pastry blender; add walnuts; add 1/3 – 1/2 mixture to apples to coat; place apples in crust; sprinkle rest of streusel on top. Put foil around crust. Bake at 375 for 40 minutes; remove foil and bake another 20 minutes. Should be bubbly!
